WriteLog Version 9 Released!

The best Windows contest logging software just got even better -- with lots of cool new features.

Improved user interface features dockable windows for easier viewing of Band Summary, QSO Window, Status Bar, Check Call, Rate, Great Circle Bearings, Super Check partial, Band Map, and Frequency Memories. The windows are easier to manage for both small screens (laptops) and large ones (17" and bigger), the keyboard handling is more familiar for CT users, and multiplier displays are easier to read and update in real time.

New Super Check Partial window with color coded call signs for more information. Calls worked on other bands are Green, dupes are Red, and calls that haven't been worked are Gray.

New Check Call window instantly shows all QSO information for the station being worked.  Makes it easy to see which bands are still needed, or to confirm QSO information.  The replaces the correlation window that was in Version 8.

New Two Radio support for RTTY and SSB.  WriteLog supports two radios in both RTTY & SSB with only ONE Sound board.  All radio switching (and RTTY copy) is handled by the program.  Watch your scores go through the roof with this feature!

Improved RTTY copy. You have to see it to believe how well the new Version 9 prints RTTY signals.  Wide and narrow band DSP algorithms can run simultaneously for perfect copy under the roughest conditions.

New Auto CQing mode. When enabled, a CQ message will repeat after a programmable time delay until you stop it or type a call on the keyboard.  Makes it easy to keep begging for contacts while tuning the second radio. The status bar also shows CQ speed in CW mode and whether Auto CQ is on or off. In RTTY mode it shows ON or OFF.

New Packet Window Filters.  The Packet window now has several options for filtering spots.  Single op mode blocks all DX announcements.   Multi-single mode allows the run station to get spots on the same band while the multiplier station gets all the other bands. Multi-Multis can get all spots or only for the band they are on.

Split Screen view of Log.  Split screen allows you divide the log window in two independently scrollable windows to view different parts of the log at the same time.  It's real handy for looking back in the log to see what you worked at the same time the day before, or seeing QTC's in the WAE contest, etc..

Improved Beam Heading Display.  You now see short path heading, distance, plus long path heading!

Support for ADIF export.  WriteLog now supports the Amateur Data Interface File format making it even easier to export contest log data into your day-to-day logging software.

Easy upgrade. All WriteLog Version 8 (.CNT) files can be transferred to the new Version 9 (.WL) format.

WriteLog Version 9 users can upgrade to Version 10 for just $30.00. Contact K5DJ today for an instant upgrade via web download!
