WriteLog installer gives ComponentMovedata error
..and gives an error message naming atl.dll. The problem is that the
file atl.dll is marked Read-only. Using the Windows File Manager, browse
to the directory named in the error message and find the file atl.dll.
Click on the file to highlight it, then right click and choose
Properties in the menu that pops up. Find the button labeled
"Read-only" and be sure the button is off. Click OK, and
re-run the WriteLog installer.
LPT ports with Windows 2000/XP
WriteLog does not support use of the LPT port on Windows NT, Windows
2000 or Windows XP. However, third party solutions are available.
SO2R setup
WriteLog fully supports SO2R operation. Here is documentation on how
to wire up your station.
Windows 2000
network setup with version 10.19
WriteLog version 10.19's packet windows will not network properly on
Windows 2000, but you can fix it.
